This is a CCD image of the globular cluster M13 in Hercules, taken by member Hank Adams from West Orange, NJ through his CG-11 telescope operating at f/6.3 on August 26, 2001.

The SBIG ST-8e CCD camera was temperature regulated at -1.9 Celcius. Sixteen exposures of ten seconds each were taken for a total exposure of 160 seconds at medium resolution. They were processed with Maxim DL.

The dimmest stars in the image are 17th magnitude.
