This committee is responsible for the maintenance of the equipment in the
optical shop. The committee also encourages and assists those who wish to
build their own telescope or other related projects. The committee
periodically runs a course on shop practices for those members who wish to
qualify to use the machinery in the shop. This committee also has partial
responsibility for the maintenance of the Observatory, telescopes, and related
equipment.
